Endorsements

An impartial judge makes decisions grounded in law, not personal opinion or belief. Chief Justice Barbara Madsen has been steadfast in her commitment to the independence of the judiciary and the separation of powers, pushing the legislature to do its job in writing our laws. That Barbara is fair and impartial is evidenced by her unanimous election as Chief Justice, her recent accolades as Seattle University School of Law “Woman of the Year” and the 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Washington Political Science Department. She is proud to have been endorsed by a wide spectrum of attorneys, activists, civic leaders, judges, and organizations during her previous campaigns.
